We help you make your Code of Conduct come to life for all your employees. Whether through our highly interactive Ethics in Action Workshop, or through lively online training where the teacher is having the best day every single day, we can design a program to meet your needs and your budget.

To achieve your web-based ethics training goals, you want engaging and interactive content. You want employees to be talking about the course in the hallways and at lunch. That’s what you get with a Syrus Global Code-of-Conduct training partner.

We tailor the Code of Conduct course to meet your specific needs. It typically provides basic ethics training on the topics that are most important for your organization’s success. Because you can customize the content, it takes on the personality of your organization’s own culture. We provide you starter copy for topics such as:

  • Ethical leadership
  • Harassment and discrimination for managers
  • Information security
  • Privacy
  • Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
  • Insider trading
  • Dealing with ethical dilemmas
Our partners’ online courses offer variety and interest, with features such as interactive quizzes, relevant stories in the news, and links to your organization’s Code of Conduct. Book-marking allows students to stop and resume later without losing their place in the course. We suggest sizing the course for a 25 to 35-minute learner experience.

Importantly, we also include links throughout the online courses to Listen Up ethics reporting and helpline. Experience shows that while employees are in a learning moment, you have an excellent opportunity to let them tell you about, or ask about, practices that may be in violation of your Code of Conduct.

When your employee completes the Code of Conduct course, a certification can be automatically created. For employees who don’t have computer access, we can provide an offline version of your customized Code of Conduct course.

The Federal Sentencing Guidelines require that an organization "must have taken steps to communicate effectively its standards and procedures to all employees . . . by requiring participation in training programs or by disseminating publications that explain in a practical manner what is required." To obtain the protection of the Guidelines, and to achieve mitigation credits in the event that an employee engages in corporate misconduct, educating people about your Code of Conduct is essential. Even without incentives such as these, it would be irresponsible NOT to teach people what they need to know before they come to work every day.
